Switching Providers

Moving work to Ardafis, without disrupting what already works

Most firms considering outsourced support for the first time have the same question: what actually happens to my current setup? Here's the honest answer.

The switch

Five things that stay true

You control the pace. Nothing moves until you've seen the scope, the price, and the paperwork.

  1. 1

    Nothing changes for your clients

We work behind the scenes inside your firm's own software. Your clients continue to see your firm — not ours — before, during, and after the switch.

  2. 2

Your current provider isn't involved until you're ready

We scope the work and agree on pricing based on what you're already doing, so you know exactly what's changing before anything moves.

  3. 3

Access is granted client-by-client, under NDA

We don't ask for blanket access to your practice management system on day one — access is scoped to the specific clients you hand over, after an NDA is signed.

  4. 4

IRC §7216 consent is handled properly

If client tax return information will be shared with us, US rules require your client's consent first, including disclosure that we're located outside the US. We'll help your firm put that consent process in place before any data moves.

  5. 5

A phased handover, not a hard cutover

Most firms start with one or two clients or a single busy-season overflow project, confirm the quality bar, and then expand — you control the pace.

How a switch moves

A phased handover, not a hard cutover.

  1. 1

    Map what you do now

Scope and pricing based on today's work

  2. 2

    NDA & consent

    Paperwork before any data moves

  3. 3

    Pilot 1–2 clients

    Confirm the quality bar first

  4. 4

    Expand at your pace

You control how fast it grows

You stay the licensed professional of record

Our partners are ACCA-qualified, not US-licensed CPAs or EAs — so we never sign, file, or represent a client before the IRS or a state agency. We prepare returns, filings, and workpapers to your firm's standard; your licensed CPA or EA reviews, signs, and retains full professional responsibility and the client relationship, exactly as if the work were done in-house.
